Why, hello there!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by! I'm André: a London-based creative originally from San Francisco, CA. I am currently the Head of Graphic Design of Photobox's physical Product Innovation team. Within my time there, I have used graphic design to create commercial opportunities and data-informed, customer-focused creative across all physical product and packaging. Most recently I built (and currently manage) a bespoke design service for customer wedding books.
My creative journey began over 10 years ago at high-end organic grocer Whole Foods Market as a Lead Graphic Designer. After leading the opening of two of the San Francisco locations, I was moved to London to lead the flagship store's design team in Kensington. I later joined recipe kit startup Gousto and built/led the design function from scratch. I had the opportunity to wear many hats within my role at Gousto, which helped me come into my own as an art/creative director, creative strategist, and marketer.
My passions and joys lie in visually communicating to the customer/end-user with empathy, innovation, and strategy at the forefront. It is a journey where I lead and champion collaboration throughout the creative process with the customer, my teams, and the business stakeholders. With every brief, my goal is to not only have the best output– but to also have the best creative journey to that output, because any solution to a brief is only as good as the journey it took to get there.
