Dog Dental Range Packaging
Wuffes

The Brief
Objective:
Insight
To create a new dental packaging concept for Wuffes that felt recognisably part of the brand while pushing the system towards a bolder, more ownable future.
The task was to make Dental Defender clear enough for DTC, Amazon and retail, distinctive enough to stand out in a crowded dental category, and flexible enough to influence a wider oral care range.
Pet dental brands all speak the same language: mint, blue, clinical claims and sparkle. Those codes help with shelf recognition but make brands easy to ignore. Fresh breath was the sharper way in. Immediate, emotional and tied to the closeness between dog and owner, it became a gateway into the deeper story of plaque, tartar and long-term oral health without leading with the science.
I developed the packaging strategy and concept direction for this Wuffes interview task, designing the full Dental Defender packaging system, visual language, layout, hierarchy and supporting presentation. My role covered category research, strategic positioning, sketch exploration, packaging design, pouch mockups, SuperYolk™ storytelling, channel application and retail display thinking, with AI used only to sense-check early visual routes and support mockup visualisation while the final packaging graphics and layout were hand designed.
Role: Concept, Creative Direction, Experience Design, Visual Direction and Presentation Design
AI-Assisted Concept Visualisation: Directed by André Harris, Jr.
