Objective:
To refresh the pre-existing Gousto brand to make it more modern and flexible, enhance both current and new customer journeys, and to increase the perceived value of the product and company.
One of Gousto's core values is “We Celebrate Food”: the recipes, the ingredients, the photography, the way it is cooked, what it is cooked with, how it tastes. I strategically leaned onto this value to lead the creative evolution of Gousto’s identity.
The refresh included modernising typography, editorialising photography, and developing a food-based colour palette to balance appetite appeal with brand sophistication. Working with design and marketing teams, I ensured the new aesthetic cohesively scaled across packaging, social content, and CRM touchpoints. The updated brand language gave Gousto a more contemporary voice and visual confidence, supporting its transition from functional meal-kit service to a household name celebrating everyday food culture.
