Branding and Visual System
Culture is the Game

The Brief
Insight
Objective:
Culture is not a statement. It is a system that needs constant energy to stop it drifting into disorder. The opportunity was to translate that tension between structure and entropy into a visual identity that felt ordered, intelligent and alive.
Culture is the Game needed a brand identity that could position organisational culture as a serious, practical and business-critical force. The brand had to speak to CEOs, CFOs and executive teams with credibility and authority, while avoiding the coldness of corporate consultancy or the softness often associated with workplace culture.
The identity needed to feel timeless, expert and stripped back, but still warm, human and full of energy. Working from the brand’s philosophy-first positioning and a supplied strategic metaphor around sand, entropy and organisational drift, the challenge was to create a system that could turn an abstract leadership idea into a clear, ownable and digital-first brand world.
I created the final logo, visual identity system, colour palette, typography approach, graphic devices, layout principles, tone of voice guidance, digital applications and brand guidelines for Culture is the Game. The brand name and core sand/entropy metaphor were provided as strategic inputs, which I developed into a cohesive visual and verbal system shaped through client feedback.
