ORGANIC MEAT MASTERCLASS & SUPPER CLUB
Whole Foods Market

OBJECTIVE:

To create an identity for a PR activation media dinner for a guest list composed of London foodie bloggers and prominent figures in the organic meat industry.

It was like a scene out of a creative reality competition show such as MasterChef or Project Runway: I had 4 hours to completely conceptualise, brand, print, and produce an array of collateral for a big media and meat industry dinner being held by the Whole Foods Market UK region.

Without skipping a beat I found inspiration in the classic rural butcher shop aesthetic. I created a logo that included a plate setting with a meat cleaver instead of a knife, all framed to look like a cattle brand.

From there I created the remaining collateral which included name placards, a menu, and toothpick labels. To put the cherry on top, I printed on brown craft paper reminiscent of butcher's paper to give it a rustic look – enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Concept/Lead Designer: André Harris, Jr.

Designers: Holly Monger, Marilia Quemard
