OBJECTIVE:

To conduct a stragetic analysis of the current Dock & Bay visual comms (website, paid social channels, social media, and CRM branding) to identify priority areas for improvement – showcasing them through example creative assets.

What I delivered: Elevated Dock & Bay’s visual brand strategy through a comprehensive audit and creative proposal blending strategy, design, and storytelling.

For Dock & Bay, I conducted a visual communications audit spanning the brand’s website, paid ads, social media, and CRM channels, assessing how well the creative aligned with their lifestyle-led positioning and playful tone. Through a SWOT analysis and a competitive benchmarking exercise, I identified key opportunities to improve hierarchy, cohesion, and personality across channels.

My proposal introduced a typographic update to create visual rhythm and hierarchy, alongside photography enhancements that elevated colour, energy, and brand value alignment. To reinforce the link between product and brand, I developed graphic devices inspired by Dock & Bay’s iconic towel graphics, borrowing from the joyful visual language of murals to show how the brand could “inject brightness into the everyday.”

These refinements were presented through mockups demonstrating refreshed campaign visuals, digital assets, and rollout workflows. The pitch resonated strongly with the CEO, who praised the mural-inspired approach and the strategic clarity of the recommendations, acknowledging that it captured both the spirit and future potential of Dock & Bay’s brand.
