A traditional Nordic Christmas is seen as very natural and deconstructed: minimal colours with white as the primary, simple graphics and illustrations, and the use of elements from nature. With these guidelines set I created many of the elements used to help drive the theme around the store. Colours included a dominant white, browns from cardboard, butcher paper and pinecones as a dominant neutral, and rich reds as the accent. The colour palette flushed out into different décor elements such as birch and pinecone mobiles, paper lanterns with simple illustrations, birch/pinecone/bauble centerpieces, and printed décor across the store.
