Objective:
To create a memorable visual identity that reflected the fun and whimsy of California beach boardwalks for Whole Foods Market Ocean's 1st anniversary.

It was very important to capture the same lighthearted and memorable moods associated with beach boardwalks in this branding.

The logo took on the same look and feel as the fun and game attraction bulbed signs that light up boardwalk Midways.

Lastly, combining old-timey carnival graphics and typographic layouts helped bring full-circle whimsy to Ocean Avenue's first birthday party.
