CREATIVE DIRECTION • BRANDING • PACKAGING 

OBJECTIVE: 

To brand an emerging food range with a stand-out modern visual identity that pays homage to the history and heritage of each product's specific recipe and the

overall cuisine.

Anzali Persia is a food brand that wanted to disrupt the current ethnic food scene by offering authentic Iranian food (an often under-represented cuisine) to the modern foodie culture. The most proprietary aspect of the range is in its ingredients and the particular methods of cooking, which has been passed down across 4 generations of the founder's family.

Inspiration was taken from the vibrant colours of the ingredients, architectural patterns seen in Iranian tile-work, and the honesty of the botanical illustration style. Natural textures influenced by the all-natural ingredients of the products provide a warm and inviting backdrop to all of the brand assets, most importantly seen in the proposed packaging mockups.
